Tactical Allocation between Metal Types: Orion’s Mine Finance strategy provides exposure to precious metals, which tend to outperform in low interest rate and inflationary environments and to energy transition metals, for which the supply/demand dynamics will benefit as we shift to a more sustainable economy.

Exposure to Energy Transition Metals: The energy transition will rely on battery, wind and solar technologies, as well as other renewable options needed to address climate change. Metals such as copper, nickel, lithium and silver are critical raw materials used in the manufacturing of these technologies and renewable solutions.

Expertise in Production-Linked Instruments: Royalties, streams, and offtakes are instruments linked to output that have debt and equity features. Orion has a history of originating, structuring and exiting these types of investments.
