Jessica Monasterio

Ms. Monasterio is a professional engineer and mineral economist with over 15 years of experience in the mining and minerals industry. She performs tailings and water diligence, evaluates performance of existing assets, and conducts sensitivity analyses of financial models for risk. Prior to joining Orion, Ms. Monasterio developed technical economic models for front-end studies as a consultant at JDS Energy & Mining and Tetra Tech, Inc. She began her career as a geotechnical engineer, specializing in tailings storage facility design. She holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering degrees in Geological Engineering from Colorado School of Mines. She currently serves as Chair of the Outreach & Communications Committee for Women in Mining Denver and has served on the SME Colorado Chapter Board of Directors.
