Paul Finnerty

Paul joined Orion in 2023 as a Portfolio Manager of trade finance, bringing over 26 years of experience in physical commodities markets. Previously, he established RBC’s commodity Inventory Finance desk and grew it into one of the largest globally with Mr. Temple. Prior to that, he served as the Head of Risk EMEA at Noble Resources and VP of Risk at SmartestEnergy (Marubeni). Mr. Finnerty also held various roles in management consultancy at PA Consulting and PwC, where he advised multinationals on commodity trading and risk frameworks.
