Investment Strategy

Cash Flow Stream: The typical life of a mineral royalty is in excess of 25 years. Orion’s strategy is to target royalties that are either in production or within 36 months to cash flow.

Diversified Portfolio: Orion targets agriculture, industrial, and specialty minerals, which historically have been underserved by capital market providers. Each of these minerals has a different end-market use (construction, fertilizer, alloys, etc.)

 

Downside Protection: Each Orion royalty is structured with security features that are common in senior secured loans.

 

Inflation Protection: Exposure to industrial minerals provides protection against inflation given their important role in the production of consumer and manufactured goods.
